Egypt has made significant progress on women’s rights in recent years, with a strong political will to ensure women’s constitutional rights. The Egyptian Constitution of 2014 guarantees women’s rights in all areas of life, including civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. The constitution also includes provisions to protect women from violence and ensure they can balance work and family responsibilities.
Since taking power as Egypt’s President in 2014, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has declared his support for Egyptian women on multiple occasions, emphasizing the importance of equal rights and women’s empowerment for Egypt’s development.
This type of workplace employment will set an example for not only countries in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan, but many countries in the African continent to promote women’s rights in the workplace with good above-standard living wages, but also combat slave and child labor worldwide, while creating true green energy jobs to help save our planet.
